Final Table Challenge promotion enables Andrew Wan to freeroll his way to £52,500!
After making 4 £15 Final Tables Andrew Wan had won entry to the 500 Deepstack for FREE!Andrew Wan is over the moon thanks to his recent victory in the 500 Deepstack especially after qualifying for his seat via DTD's Final Table challenge promotion. This is a club promotion that rewards players who reach the final table more than twice in one month, with free tournament seats into our special events. Andrew qualified for his seat by reaching 3 final tables in our regular £15 tournament. There is no reason why you can’t do the same!
This weekend’s 500 Deepstack was the biggest tournament Andrew has ever played in so to go on and win the event was a massive achievement. DTD entered 7 players into the 500 Deepstack from the Final Table Challenge, as well as 8 players from the Cash Game Bonus promotion, rewarded players based on their monthly accumulated cash game hours.
Wan made a great start on Day 1a, going into Day 2 as one of the chipleaders. On Day 2 he was clearly elated to be in the running and was over the moon when he, along with 3 other freerollers, broke into the money. From here on in his sights were now on the number one spot.
On the Final Table Shola Akindele (Cash Game Bonus winner), Kyriacos Dionysiou (Final Table Challenge winner) and Andrew Wan were joined by previous Monte Carlo and £300 Deepstack winner Waheed Ashraf and December’s £300 Deepstack winner Peter Linton, making for an interesting final table!
Kyriacos finished 7th, Shola finished 5th but it was underdog Andrew Wan, our regular £15 player who took home the honours with a £52,500 win.
DTD Poker caught up with Andrew after the win:
“I had been running badly for a fair few months but my friends told me to keep at it. The Final Table Challenge kept me going and it seems December was my month”
Andrew went on to say
“I’m over the moon, I just can’t believe it. I’m a bit of a poker snob, I’ve tried many other casinos and played in home games but nothing matches up to Dusk Till Dawn, there’s just no place like it for a poker player”
In total DTD club promotions (Final Table Challenge and Cash Game Bonus) generated an incredible £71,752.50 in winnings to those players who qualified. Next month it could be you who reams in the rewards.
