Latin American Poker Tour
The Leage of Champions event guarantees one player and a friend: a trip to Punta del Este, Uruguay to take part in the first season of The Latin American Poker Tour (LAPT).This is a great opportunity to travel to an exotic destination, considered to be one of the hottest and most popular nightlife destinations in the world and experience the thrill of being part of the first season of the LAPT.
Players from all over the world will join this three-day US$2,500 No Limit Hold'em Tournament at the Mantra Resort Spa & Casino in Punta del Este from August 7th to August 9th 2008, an event that guarantees more than $600,000.00.
Players can take part in any of the League of Champions multi-tournaments that will run twice a week: Wednesdays and Saturdays at 9PM EST between April 19th and July 26th. The winner of the table will earn a free entrance to the League of Champions Final which will take place on July 27th at 5PM EST.
Players can join the League of Champions multi-tournaments and accumulate points in the Tournament Leader board; points will be added to their tally on a weekly basis. The top 30 players that accumulate the most points will join the League of Champions Final as well.
The Top 20 players in the League of Champions Final will win prizes such as: Cash, iPhones and tournament entries.
