Last week Purple Lounge attended the legendary Hold 'Em Freezeout tournament at the Grand Casino in the fabulous Finnish capital of Helsinki. The field was formidable, fierce and focussed with many a hardened poker veteran pushed out of the running early by one of the excellent new comers making their main event debuts.Purple Lounge Poker's very own paragon of poker Michelle Orpe laid down her chips with the best of the Finnish lads and played valiantly flying the Purple Lounge flag high as one of only three ladies playing in the event.
Juha-Rauno Lampila came away with the spoils, winning his first major European tournament and sparking some powerful scenes of emotion at the final table.
