You can qualify via Virgin Poker to the first ever Poker Occasions Festival, hosted at Napoleons Casino Sheffield on the weekend of 25th July 2008.

The €500 Poker Occasions Festival prize package consists of: Weekly €5+0.50 Guaranteed Satellites are running every Wednesday and Sunday at 19:00hr GMT till the 17th of July. Winners of the weekly satellites will win entry into the Poker Occasion Guaranteed Final on the 19th of July 08 19:00hr GMT - €50+0.50 buy-in

The best performing poker player over the weekend will receive 10% of the total festival Prize Pool plus a 2009 ‘Las Vegas poker holiday package’.

Amsterdam Master Classics

Amsterdam Master Classics 11th to 14th November 2008

Virgin Poker are sending players to €6,000 + €200 main event of the Master Classics of Poker in Amsterdam, Holland. This tournament is a No Limit Freezeout tournament.

The main event will be held at the Holland Casino in Amsterdam from the 11th - 14th November. The prize package is an €7,500 package which is €6,200 entry to the tournament + €1,300 travel money. You could be sat next to professional poker players competing for a chance at the estimated €500,000 1st prize.

You can win one of these seats via the satellites running into one of the €375 + €25 online finals.

€5 satellites will run all day, everyday. Winners of the daily satellites will win entry into the Sunday €44 final at 17:30 BST to compete for a €400 seat in to one of the online finals at 16:30 on Sunday the 27th July, 24th August, 21st September & 19th October 2008.
