Running Over a Sit-and-Go
Running over players in a sit-and-go is a surefire way to win the event. There's nothing wrong with being a bully. Granted, no one likes a bully. However, if you are the bully, do you really care what people think of you?Does it really matter if someone slips a derogatory remark about you in the chat window of a sit-and-go? Are you at the table to make friends, or to win the game? In a sit-and-go, a good player will do everything in their power to win the event.

If you have momentum, why slow down? The last thing any streaking player should do is back off. If you are able to run over a player in a sit-and-go, then do it. Running over the competition still depends on the strength of the cards being dealt, but it also depends on strategy.If you have spotted a weakness in another player, then you would be foolish not to use it to your advantage. For example, if a player constantly folds when you reraise them, why would you stop reraising them? Run them over, bluff them and bully them. Intimidate them so they want to cry and run home to mom. It's okay. It's Texas Holdem, not a playground.
Bully Vs. Gonzo
There is a difference between running over other players and being gonzo. Being gonzo is the same as playing like a maniac. A maniac will go all-in with 2 10 off suited. This may buy a few hands, but in the long term, this type of running over the competition will lead to a quick dead end and sure elimination from the tournament.A bully is not someone who is crazy. A bully in poker is someone who has discovered a strategy that works and is using it to his advantage repeatedly.
Everything Is Temporary
A smart bully knows when the other players have adapted to their tactics. Bullying will not last forever. There is only so much you can do when other players have adapted to your bullying tactics, or when the cards have run out.A smart bully knows when to step back and sit a few out. A smart bully will run over his competition, but will not press their luck. A smart bully knows that when it comes to lasting in a sit-and-go tournament, everything is moving forward fast, and everything is temporary.
