If you haven't played betED Poker before, please follow the instructions below to get started:
1. Download: If you haven't already, download the betEd Poker software here.
2. Install: Once you've downloaded the software, double-click the file and follow the instructions provided by the installation program. Choose the "Express Installation" option for easy setup.
3. Launch: Once the program has installed, double-click on the betED Poker Icon, which should be located on your desktop. This will launch the betED Poker program.
4. Login/Register: After the program loads (this may take up to 20 seconds while it connects to the network), click on the "Login" button, located in the lower right of the betED Poker screen. This will bring up a window that looks like this:
If you already have a betED.com account:
Simply enter your betED username and password, and click "OK".
If you don't have a betED.com account:
Click "Register Account" to create a betED.com account. Once you've completed the registration process, click the "Back" button located at the bottom of the registration screen to return to this login screen. Enter your betED username and password and click "OK".
5. Prima Network Verification: betED is a member of the Prima Poker network. You will be asked if you have a poker membership at any other online poker establishment within the Prima Network. Party Poker and Paradise Poker are NOT on the Prima network. If you are in doubt, answer "no".
6. Alias Creation: Next, you will be asked to create a poker network alias, and to provide some security information. An alias is a name you will be identified with while playing poker. Your alias must be unique within the network, so you may have to choose an alias that's different from your betED username.
7. Start Playing! Once you've created your alias, you're ready to hit the tables! Click on the "Back" button, which will return you to the betED Poker lobby, where you can make your choice from hundreds of poker tables! Select a game type from the list on the left, then choose from a table to start playing. Please note, real money games are listed in black text and play games are listed in blue text.
