Ladbrokes Poker Cruise 2008

Below are a few images from the 2006 Ladbrokes Poker Cruise. In 2006 Rivered had 3 people on the cruise and one player in the Main Event. Stu lasted the first day in the main event, but unfortunately got busted on day 2 after being drawn on a very tough table to begin with.

The 2008 Ladbrokes Poker Cruise will take place on a boat similar to the one pictured below.

The Ladbrokes Poker Cruise III

The Ladbrokes Poker Cruise is BACK! And it is bigger and better than ever! In January 2008, the Ladbrokes Poker Cruise III will sail from New York for a 10 day Caribbean Poker Cruise.

This time the poker will be played aboard the deluxe cruise liner ‘Explorer of the Seas’, with every cabin having it’s own balcony and Wi-Fi internet connectivity.

There will again be a Festival of Poker that includes a full tournament programme, cash games and STT’s. The tournament programme will include a $2,500 Main Event and the Ladies $10,000 Freeroll. Cash Games & STT’s will be available whenever the ship is at sea.

How to Qualify for your Cruise Ticket

To get on the Ladbrokes Poker Cruise 2008 you need to obtain a $5,500 Cruise Ticket, which can be won in the $550 + $50 Cruise Weekly Final that is held each Sunday evening.

You can either buy directly into this freeze-out tournament or qualify via the $60 + $6 Cruise Daily Finals, for which there is a daily programme of satellites including the Cruise Freeroll which is held each evening.

During the Cruise Ticket qualification period, Ladbrokes Poker will be offering you free opportunities to win Cruise Tickets and seats in Cruise Daily & Weekly Finals. Make sure you check our Promotions section to make sure you do not miss out on your free chances to join the biggest European Poker Event.

Alternatively, if you want to qualify for a Cruise Package that includes entry into the $2,500 Main Event and an additional $1,000 expenses, you can do this by winning a $9,000 LEOTOP package in the LEOTOP Weekly Final that is held every Wednesday evening and redeeming it for a LEOTOP Cruise Package.

Cruise Ticket Direct

If you do not want to go through the online qualification route, and want to secure your cabin immediately, you can simply purchase a Cruise Ticket Direct for $3,800, which does not include the travel allowance, but does include:

Travel Allowance

All qualifiers will have the $1,700 travel allowance credited to their Ladbrokes Poker account. The qualifier will be responsible for arranging return flights and hotel accommodation (for themselves and guest) in New York for the night of 24th January 2008.

For players qualifying before the end of February 2007, travel allowance credits to Ladbrokes Poker accounts will be made in March 2007. This will be the time when flights to New York become available for purchase. See terms and conditions for more details.

Ladbrokes Poker Cruise III – The Festival of Poker

The Festival of Poker will operate at all times that the ship is at sea.

Ladbrokes Poker Cruise 2008 Main Event – this will be $2,500 NL Texas Hold’em Freezeout.

Side Tournaments – there will be a range of side tournaments with buy-ins to suit all bankrolls, including the famous $10,000 ‘Ladies freeroll’ which returns to Ladbrokes Poker Cruise III.

Single Table Tournaments – two poker rooms will be dedicated to STT’s.

Cash Games – Cash Tables will be open at all available times.

All poker purchased on board will be purchased using the ‘cashless’ ship system. Poker tournament buy-ins, and the purchase of cash game chips will be charged against your ship card, which you will receive upon check-in. This ship card will be lodged against your credit card, details of which you will be supplied with when completing your cruise booking after qualifying for a ‘Cruise Ticket’. Alternatively cash can be lodged against your ship card, upon check-in.

Players wishing to utilise funds from Ladbrokes Poker accounts should transfer them to the relevant credit card prior to departure for the cruise. Ladbrokes Poker cannot access funds from accounts on a player’s behalf.
