EPT comes to TV

Don't miss all the action from Season 3 of the PokerStars European Poker Tour, showing soon on Challenge TV.

Filmed on location at Europe's most prestigious casinos, you'll get to experience the highs, lows, bad beats and great plays that are part of the richest poker series in Europe.

The EPT will be broadcast at 11:00 PM every Friday, Saturday and Sunday night starting May 25th 2007 on Challenge TV (Sky Channel 124, Virgin Media Channel 152).

The EPT TV show, with expert analysis from Greg Raymer, John Duthie and Lee Jones, kicked off with a simmering confrontation in Barcelona that included Phil Ivey and Bjorn Erik Glenne and ended with the richest tournament ever held in Europe, the EPT Grand Final in Monte Carlo.

The Grand Final featured PokerStars qualifier Gavin Griffin, Ram Vaswani (number one All-Time EPT Tournament Leader Board) and Canadian Marc Karam, making his second consecutive final table in Monte Carlo.

Elsewhere, you can watch and learn from some of the world's finest poker players, including Andy Black, Johnny Lodden, TJ Cloutier, Marcel Luske, Roland de Wolfe, Victoria Coren, Barny Boatman, Isabelle Mercier, Carlos Mortensen, Dario Minieri and Willie Tann.

Ladbrokes Poker Million VI

Europe’s richest and most prestigious live televised poker tournament is back for a sixth year offering players: And again online qualification is exclusive to Ladbrokespoker.com.

But who will be the champion this year? Will it be another Ladbrokes online qualifier?

This year, the rules on player sponsorship have been amended by the tournament organisers Matchroom Sport, Europe’s leading provider of televised poker, so that players can now wear their sponsor’s logo when competing in the televised stages of the Ladbrokes Poker Million.

In recognition of this change 28 seats have been reserved by Matchroom Sports to recruit the cream of the world’s Sponsored Professionals to compete against the cream of Ladbrokes Poker players in Europe’s most prestigious tournament.

Qualification

Online qualification for a $27,500 Poker Million VI package will run from February on a while seats available basis.

Package Winners will receive the $25,000 tournament buy-in and a $2,500 expenses package and be invited to London for the filming of the heats and semi-finals in late July.

The victors from the Semi-Finals will be invited back to London on 21st December for the Final Table which will again be broadcast live on Sky Sports.

If you do not make it to the final table, you may still be able to join in all of the excitement by attending the now legendary Poker Million Live Final Party in central London with 500 other poker fans.

Most poker player’s dream of landing the big one, that will let them give up the day job. The last two Poker Million tournaments have fulfilled the dream for Tony “spider99” Jones and Rajesh “foggy71” Modha. Will it be you this year?
